UltraClear Fractional Laser Resurfacing
UltraClear® is the first-of-its-kind MID IR Fiber Laser facial rejuvenation solution that treats multiple skin layers—from the superficial stratum corneum and epidermis to the deeper layers of the dermis—to help reverse signs of aging like wrinkles, spots, scars, dull skin tone, and rough skin texture. UltraClear is fully customizable allowing gentle to aggressive resurfacing options for all skin types. The UltraClear offers faster treatments with significantly less downtime compared to other resurfacing treatments such as Fraxel, LaseMD or CO2 Lasers.
What is UltraClear Fractional Laser Resurfacing?
Fractional laser resurfacing uses laser light to treat a controlled fraction of the skin's surface, allowing for impressive results with a managed recovery time. By selecting a specific laser wavelength, one can target different levels and areas of the skin precisely. UltraClear® uses short, concentrated light beams to gently treat a controlled fraction of the skin's top layer triggering the body’s natural healing process and stimulating new cell growth.
At the same time, UltraClear® can deliver controlled energy targeting the deep layers of the skin inducing to start the rejuvenation process, increasing collagen and elastin production, revitalizing your skin from the inside out.
There are 5 modes for UltraClear: Clear, Clear +, Ultra, UltraClear and Coring. Each mode can be used alone or with other modes depending on treatment goals.
The most gentle mode is Clear mode. The 3D Miracl treatment is apart of Clear mode.

UltraClear Laser Resurfacing
The Clear +, Ultra, UltraClear and Coring modes are considered more aggressive treatments.

Each mode can be turned down or up as well as combined with other modes depending on treatment goals.
In simple terms, Ultra Mode treats the second layer of skin called the Dermis to increase collagen and elastin production, reducing fine lines, wrinkles, and improving skin laxity and scar appearance.
UltraClear simultaneously treats superficial and deeper layers in a single pass to provide total skin rejuvenation.
The UltraClear is compared to the gold standard for skin rejuvenation such as CO2 laser resurfacing as it significantly addresses deep wrinkles, sun damage, skin tone, and scars. This procedure can dramatically reverse the appearance of aging. UltraClear can provide dramatic improvement with less downtime. This treatment effectively "resets" the skin’s age, providing numerous benefits:
-
Reduction of Wrinkles: This includes even the most stubborn deep wrinkles around the eyes, mouth, and cheeks, making it an excellent solution for "smoker's lines."
-
Improvement in Skin Texture and Quality: The laser removes dull, aged skin, stimulating the production of fresh skin cells and collagen. It also targets and eliminates stubborn pigmentation, sun spots, and even precancerous cells.
-
Scar and Blemish Reduction: It is effective for treating surgical scars, traumatic scars, acne scars, and other blemishes by remodeling collagen and replacing damaged tissue with new collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid.
-
Pore Size Reduction: Particularly effective on the nose, deep resurfacing can address enlarged pores
Who Is the Ideal Candidate for UltraClear Laser Resurfacing?

This treatment is ideal for those looking to dramatically enhance their skin’s quality, especially if they are dealing with severe textural issues like sun damage, pigmentation, and deep wrinkles. Ideal candidates are:
-
Individuals with moderate to severe wrinkles, pigmentation, blemishes, and scars. For milder concerns, less invasive treatments may be more suitable.
-
Patients who are prepared for significant downtime, which can range from 4 to 14 days, depending on the treatment’s depth and density.
-
Those committed to long-term skin care following the procedure, as one treatment can yield lasting results if properly maintained.
Coring Mode

The UltraClear Coring Mode is a non-surgical skin tightening treatment that uses Laser coring technology to remove excess skin and improve the appearance of wrinkles and skin laxity.

The Laser coring setting uses laser energy to remove micro-cores of excess skin. This stimulates the body to produce more collagen and elastin, which rejuvenates the area and leads to tighter, more youthful skin. The small size of the micro-cores heal without visible scarring.

The most common areas that laser coring is used are on the lower cheeks, around the mouth, and the upper neck.
Recovery Following UltraClear Laser Resurfacing

Recovery time varies based on the depth and density of the treatment:
-
Light Resurfacing - 3D Miracl: Recovery time is typically 3-5 days, with redness lasting 48-72 hours.
-
Medium Resurfacing Clear +, Ultra and UltraClear: Recovery can take 3-7 days,
-
High Density UltraClear and Coring : Recovery ranges from 6 to 14 days

Can the Neck and Décolletage Be Treated with UltraClear Laser Resurfacing?

Yes, these areas can be treated. These regions have fewer hair follicles, which slows the healing process. Typically, when used for the neck and chest the visible downtime may be longer, around 7-14 days. These areas may require multiple sessions to achieve desired results as comparable to facial rejuvenation.
When Will I See Results Following Fractional Laser Treatments?
Visible results typically appear within 2 to 8 weeks. Initially, you will notice a significant reduction in skin pigmentation, such as age spots and sunspots, within the first week. Improvements in wrinkles and pore size become evident from week 2 to week 8 as collagen production increases. Skin tightening may be visible after about 4 weeks, with ongoing improvements up to 3 to 6 months post-treatment.
